Sister Nivedita Public School, established in 1972 under the Bhagini Nivedita Shiksha Samiti, Gwalior, has been a beacon of quality education for over 53 years. Rules & Regulations

Morning assembly is compulsory for all students
Morning assembly attendance is mandatory for all students. Vandematram, prayers, and motivational activities are conducted daily to instill discipline, patriotism and moral values.

Reach school 10 minutes before morning prayer
All students must arrive at school at least 10 minutes before the morning prayer begins to ensure orderly assembly formation and a peaceful start to the day.

Main gate closes 5 minutes after morning prayer ends
The school main gate will be closed 5 minutes after the morning prayer ends. Late-coming students will not be allowed entry and parents will be informed accordingly.

Parents/guardians not allowed in class during study hours
Parents and guardians are strictly not permitted to enter classrooms during school hours. They may meet teachers only during designated parent-teacher meetings or by prior appointment.

Clean uniform and ID card compulsory every day
All students must wear a clean, properly ironed school uniform and carry their ID card every single day. Students without ID cards or in improper uniforms will be noted and parents informed.

Write your name on all study materials — books, copies, bags, bottles
Students must write their name, class and section on all study materials including books, notebooks, bags, water bottles, tiffin boxes and homework diaries to prevent loss.

Participation in cultural activities is compulsory for all students
All students must actively participate in cultural activities, annual functions, sports days and other school events. This is essential for all-round personality development.

75% annual attendance mandatory to appear in examinations
A minimum of 75% attendance throughout the academic year is mandatory for students to be eligible to appear in the annual examinations. Students below 75% will not be permitted to sit in exams.

Monthly fee must be paid between 1st to 10th. Late fee Rs.15/month
All monthly school fees must be paid between the 1st and 10th of every month. A late fee of Rs. 15/- per month will be charged for payments made after the 10th. Repeated non-payment may result in removal from rolls.

15 consecutive absent days without information = name struck off
If a student remains absent for 15 consecutive days without any prior notice or leave application, their name will be struck off the school register. Re-admission will require a fresh application.

Only leave applications signed by parents/guardians will be accepted
Leave applications must be signed by parents or guardians. Applications written or signed by students themselves will not be accepted. For medical leave, a doctor's certificate may be required.

No leave permitted during school hours; attendance marked in last period
No student will be given leave during school hours except in genuine emergencies. If a parent needs to take the child, they must come personally to the school office. Attendance is marked in the last period.

Tiffin is compulsory. Late tiffin delivery fee: Rs.60/month
Every student must bring their tiffin (lunch box) to school. If the tiffin is delivered to school later than scheduled, a fee of Rs. 60/- per month will be charged to cover the additional handling.

Sports uniform compulsory on Wednesday and Saturday
All students must wear the prescribed sports uniform (green tracksuit) on every Wednesday and Saturday. These days include physical education classes, yoga and outdoor activities.

Check homework diary daily — contains syllabus, tests, timetables
Parents must check and sign the homework diary every day. The diary contains the syllabus, examination schedule, timetables, school notices, and homework assignments. It is the primary communication tool.

RTE admissions in Nursery given as per available vacancies
Admissions under the Right to Education (RTE) Act are provided in Nursery class only, subject to the availability of seats. Interested parents should contact the school office with required documents.
